Lucy Tekes is a 28-year-old mother of four from the south coast of New South Wales. This amazing mom has lost 40 kg in 12 months by following her 28 day weight loss challenge.

“On the left, I was miserably failing my health. In fact, I gained another 10kg + more than that pictured. I don’t have a picture of myself at my heaviest because I was embarrassed, in denial and heavier than I was in all four pregnancies,” Says.

What a normal day on a plate that looks like Lucy
breakfast – porridge or raisin toast.
lunch – Leftover dinner or salad dinner – usually a healthy recipe for moms (I only eat low-GI carbs during the day) with no carbs after 2pm!
Snacks – Fruit, nuts, popcorn, rice crackers, yogurt.
Favorite app exercises: Full body exercises and strength yoga.

“Take small steps and set short-term goals, which I find easiest to achieve. Also, don’t be too hard on yourself if you make a mistake or have a day of making poor decisions.
“Remember it’s a lifestyle change, not a diet, so you’re still allowed to eat chocolate or something you really enjoy in moderation.”
