Nikki, a mother of four, knew she had to make a change when she could no longer look at herself in the mirror because it bothers her so much.
Determined to change her lifestyle, Nicci jumped on The Healthy Mummy’s 28 day weight loss challenge With a length of two feet and in two months they lost 9 kilograms and two sizes of dresses.
Not only that, she is feeling great and starting to like what she sees in the mirror.
Nikki Wright is 39 years old from the southern suburbs of Perth with four children aged 13, 12, 10 and 3 years old. Two months ago, tired of looking and feeling, Nikki made the decision to join 28 day weight loss challenge.
Nicci shares, “I hardly ever smiled or laughed, so I jumped on the healthy mummy and never looked back. I just want to be happy and love the person I am. So far I have lost almost 9kg since June.”

lunch – I love love love lasagna soup! Very easy to make! Put everything in the slow cooker and let it simmer. I have a stash of freezer haha.
Dinner – Lasagna over the stove It’s a huge hit here. Again simple to make and very tasty.
Snacks – I have a huge sweet tooth, so my favorites are the Chocolate Chip Dough Tart and the Chocolate Toffee Bark!

3 tips from Nicci for people just starting out
- drink water! Lots of it. I drink about 3 liters a day. I’ve switched from sugary sodas to water and can definitely see and feel the difference.
- Be kind to yourself!!! If you’re having a bad day at food or a lazy day, don’t beat yourself up, we are all human and we need them. Listen to your body!
- Finally, do it for you. Not for anyone else.
My advice is to believe in yourself and stop making silly excuses. As soon as I stopped this, I moved mountains…. Well, I moved my body and moved my weight! I’ve got this mommy! “
