Super coach Sasha Farley has lost 30 kg since joining 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge. Not only does she feel healthier, she also looks great!
But the beautiful mom of four says she had some misconceptions about losing weight before she discovered the healthy mummy!
In fact, there are a lot of lies flying around and Sasha wants to break myths ….
Sasha unveils the most important weight loss myths
“I want to break some myths about health and weight loss / gain!
As an overthinking person, it has been important for me to research the ins and outs of what it takes to feel in control of my health.
In doing this, I feel more comfortable with my choices and owning Healthy mummy Next to me, all of this got even easier. ”
Here are 4 myths that are not true and why
1. Eat less, and move more
“It sounds great in theory, but it’s not that simple. Not eating enough generally leads to weight gain again at a later stage.”
for this reason BMR Calculator very important. It provides your individual energy needs based on your personal data.
2. Carbohydrates make you gain weight
“ Whole foods that are high in carbohydrates are healthy foods that are essential for normal body function and energy levels.
Excess calories (eating more than you burn) will lead to weight gain, not carbohydrates! They are not the enemy. I eat carbohydrates with every meal and most snacks. I was still able to change 30 kg in 9 months using meal plans. “
3. Scales don’t lie
“Oh yeah they do! For starters, scales don’t mean anything unless you do regular body checks. Scales are simply your weight, they don’t take into account muscle and fat ratio, i.e. body composition and this can change drastically without losing weight.
This is due to the types of foods you eat. For example, you can lose weight by eating 1800 calories a day but if you eat 1800 calories from a balanced diet for three months, your body will look very different from eating 1800 calories from junk food for three months. How much you eat determines weight loss / weight gain – what you eat determines your body composition and physical health – muscle / fat. ”
4. All calories are equal
“Again, theoretically yes they are. In terms of general health and what your body is made of and processes, it is not. Different types of foods affect different processes within the body. This is why we are talking about good fats and good sugars etc.”
Sasha’s most important tips to lose weight successfully
“The key to staying motivated on your journey is to focus your attention away from the scales. Think about how you feel, sleep, what your energy levels, body measurements and composition do.
Slide away from a one-size-fits-all 1,200 calories and make sure you calculate your BMR and stick to it as much as possible every day.
The restriction isn’t long-term, so aim for realistic daily goals to create a healthy habit. remember 28-day weight loss challenge app He is the best friend!

The story of Sasha’s weight loss
Before discovering the healthy mummy, Sasha has tried lots of different diets, lots of restrictions and lots of all or nothing. For her, it was all about this quick fix and she was believing all the crazy myths about losing weight like counting calories and not eating after 6 PM.
“I didn’t think living a healthy lifestyle could be enjoyed, so I thought it was always denial and punishment in the gym or dissatisfaction with your body, so I couldn’t find the balance between the two. I didn’t have that knowledge and education,” Sasha says.
Burst with confidence!
Sasha admits that she has always been very self-conscious.
“I always hated my legs, always hated my lower body and never appreciated my body for what it could do, it was always what it looked like,” Says.
But now, for Sasha, it’s not all about being confident in different outfits. Instead, she says her confidence comes from what she eats, improving her health and energy levels and only knowing that she is controlling her body in a way she has never before!
“It’s fun now and I’m happier overall and my mental health is also better, I think, from the inside out,” Sasha adds.
