  1. In a frying pan, fry the onion and garlic until they are translucent in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, about 5 minutes. Watch closely to make sure the onions and garlic are not burning.
  2. Add ground turkey to the pan, roast and cook the turkey until the pink color disappears.
  3. Add the turkey mixture and all the other ingredients to your slow cooker. Stir the ingredients until blended. Then put the cap on and set the temperature.
  4. I cook this two ways – high for 3-4 hours if I want / need them sooner, or 6-8 hours low if I have the time to wait. Either method is great.
