A Melbourne-based mother of three decided that she wants to become a role model in her children’s lives.
Now, she has lost 43 kg since she joined 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge And he has more energy than ever!
Cassie has lost 43 kg and is a better model for her three children
31-year-old Cassie admits that she has been overweight all her life but knew she needed to make a change.
“It was after I had my second child and both girls. I realized that they needed a healthy woman,” Says.
“I was tired the whole time and couldn’t keep up. It just wasn’t fair to them and I wasn’t the mother I wanted to be.”
At first, Cassie says she dropped 20 kilograms very quickly, but then it took another two years (with a baby in between) to drop the rest.
“I went from size 18-20 to size 8-10. I find my mental health in particular a lot better. I get out a lot of exercise and eat healthy,” Says.
“I’m much stronger and fitter. I use exercise as a way to calm and re-center when I haven’t had the best day mentally.”
What a typical day it looks like for Cassie
breakfast
“I usually try to get an excellent healthy banana juice from Mummy for breakfast because it is more convenient when preparing children for school.”
Snack
“On the go, I usually have a healthy snack bar or eat some fruit. When I’m at home, I eat a pear with peanut butter or almond butter.”
lunch
“Lunch usually consists of a salad or a wrap from the hm app and dinner is usually something quick and simple from the hm app.”
dinner
”I’m crazy about beta beta. Porcupine meatballs can be eaten every day of the week if the family permits.
Exercises
“The challenge of boxing and yoga. I have gained a lot of flexibility in doing yoga exercises.”
Cassie’s 3 Tips For Success
1. Find something that keeps you motivated
2. Be more confident in yourself and more confident in your abilities because we are all capable of change.
3. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Be it trying new foods, exercising or lifting heavier weights. Because how do you know that you cannot do or like something unless you try it first.
