Brooke reveals that she was in her prime after the birth of her second child. The 28-year-old says she realized she needed to make a change.
“I have fallen into unhealthy habits and I prioritize being a mother and wife over my health and well-being.” Says.
“I would often go for the fastest food option and most of the time it wasn’t a great choice … I lacked a lot of confidence in myself, I lacked energy and in the end decided that was enough.

This is when a mother of two decided that she needed to put herself first for a change.
“I needed to start putting myself first, I sat on the sidelines and watched the success stories on the social media pages of healthy mothers for some time and decided it was time to give it a try,” Says.
“I knew in my heart that the time had come. I needed to make a change, and I have two young children who needed the energy to run afterward and desperately wanted to feel confident in my own skin.
“I’m still on the journey to lose weight, but I’m very happy with my new lifestyle.”

How walking helped Brook get on the right path
You don’t need to sign up for an expensive gym to work out! Brooke says walking was what helped her start her fitness.
“Walking was a big part of my weight loss and it started my weight-loss journey for the first two months. I probably walked mostly every day and then added appropriate exercises to apply the challenge,” Says.
“I try to do one every day but sometimes I only manage to walk. I used to be a person who hated exercising but now it is so beneficial for my mental health that I never could have imagined!
“The healthy mummy has given me a new look and I don’t feel like I’m on a diet, I’m still treating myself and enjoying a meal with my family or takeaway with friends! I’m a big believer in everything in moderation.”
Find confidence on the inside
Brooke says she used to hate shopping for clothes and now it’s passionate about her.
“I have a new confidence in myself,” Says. “I look in the mirror for the first time in a long time. I love what I see. I have the energy to chase my children, play in parks, swing on swings. I am a happier, healthier version of myself.”
