Amazingly, Leon has managed to maintain his weight loss successfully purely through a healthy diet.

She says the defining moment for her was when she turned the scale at 105 kg, as she was heavier than she was when she was 9 months pregnant with her daughter!

“I have lost 16 kg so far and would like to lose another 10 kg at least.” Says. “It has been a slower process for me as I am not incorporating any fitness.

In fact, the 38-year-old started her health mummy journey 16 months ago by drinking Mummy healthy juices.

“I’ve tried shakes before but haven’t changed any of my eating habits, and only working six days a week found all of it stressful,” Says.

“About a year later, I signed up for the 28 Days Weight Loss Challenge and completely changed my eating habits and started to notice the difference.

“I’ve been cutting carbs and sugars and cutting back on my meal sizes! This was important to me, as I eat less! After doing this for 12 months, I know what works for me and what doesn’t.”

“Our favorite dinner is chicken nachos. Honestly, I’m picky with the food but I didn’t make a recipe from the app that I didn’t like.”

Leon credits the meal’s preparation and portion sizes for its success

“I think preparation in my case is the key. I work full time and have a busy life so I spend time sitting and preparing a menu all week,” She adds

Then I make a shopping list and only shop for those meals. I try to prepare meals that I can freeze or leave just for convenience. “
