Cassandra lost 30 kg and 80 cm
Cassandra was over the moon when she heard she was the winner of the 12 Weeks Challenge, and she says that support and accountability with a group of other women doing the same is exactly what she needed to break her goals.
“I loved the 12 week challenge and will definitely do it again, I am so thankful for a healthy mummy!”
Cassandra is 41 years old from Bridbow, New South Wales and the mother of six beautiful children between the ages of 19 and 6 years old.
“They are my world besides my amazing husband and for the past 22 years I’ve poured my heart and soul into them and I’m sure like most wives and mothers.. have lost myself a little along the way,” Says.
In fact, Cassandra admits that after two stressful pregnancies, children with special needs and dealing with the challenges they face as a teen have led to her putting on weight.
“I got depressed and it was a vicious cycle.”
In fact, she has been watching The Healthy Mummy community since 2015 before she decided to get involved and finally join the 28 day weight loss challenge A few years ago. 2021 was going to be the year of HER when I focused on losing weight and getting healthy.
“I was amazed when the 12th Challenge was announced and this is just what I need,” Says.
“I had 12 weeks of support and accountability with a group of women who were all out there doing the same thing, and I could do it safely in my home and still be connected to a great community support system and each responsible for a week with my weight, measurements and progress photos.
“I didn’t have to go to the gym. As a fatally fat woman with social anxiety and depression this was amazing. I was excited to be part of a community and still hide.”

- Eat healthy food as much as possible, enjoy festive moments like birthdays, and then come right back to them.
- Being kind to me, loving me, and having fun while I get fit and healthy.

Besides the obvious weight loss result, Cassandra loves a heap of other health benefits that come with losing weight.
“I feel amazing, I have inflammatory arthritis and another lot of blood work is back and almost all signs of inflammation are gone.”
“My skin looks amazing, my gut health is improving, and I can move around much easier and faster. I no longer take any painkillers.”
I can now buy clothes in Rebel sports.. and I have brought a T-shirt that says.. in a long distance relationship. I love this because that’s how I feel about my weight loss and my health journey, and it’s such a far-reaching thing. It’s an exciting journey.”
How did you do it in 12 weeks
Furthermore, Cassandra found the 12-week challenge kit to be very useful for accountability.
“The 12 Week Challenge Kit helped me a lot, and was great for my mental health. I can jot down goals and my measurements which I found really good. The Healthy Mummy app and Facebook support group have been an amazing support system for me too.”
What did Cassandra eat to lose weight
“I used the healthy mummy Premium juices To help me reach my goal. I had 2 a day breakfast and lunch. My favorite flavors are espresso, mint chocolate, and double chocolate.”
“I had meat, salad, tuna, and egg salad for dinner and a fruit/yogurt/handful of nuts for a snack.”
“I drink 3 liters of water per day 1 cup of black tea or/and a cup of green tea with lemon. I have Super healthy green mummy A few times a week, I mix it with water most often in my smoothie. “
Cassandra tips for weight loss
“Don’t give up, just keep swimming…as Dory says, because this took me 18 years and many slips until I finally woke up and see some real dips on the scales.
“It’s as much a mental battle as it is a food battle. Thank you for being so brave in sharing your stores along the way. You helped me, you’re beautiful, you deserve, you deserve it.”
“Before announcing the 12 week challenge, I made the decision to focus on myself and my desires. The timing was perfect and I wanted to do my best,” Says.
My pledge was to abide by myself. To not give up, to focus on myself completely, physically and emotionally as well as my inner health. To lose 10 kilos.

Surprisingly, Kirsty has reached her reign! She was completely committed to herself and stuck to it 12 weeks
“I looked at every area of life. I made healthy food choices, but I also took care of my mental health and helped myself heal physically and emotionally,” Says.
“In fact, I feel like the strongest in myself.”
To help stay on track, Kirsty created a motivation board and said she’s found it has helped her stay focused.
“I loved my stimulus board. I had never used one before, I put it on my kitchen door and it was a reminder when I walked in through the door,” Says.
“I had three months to write it off. I had some favorite quotes and a written vow. I even had a small peg counter. This was a strong incentive to actually move the pegs out of the kilogram shed.
“My kilos were shed because I never found them again. I made this painting very “Kirsty” because my challenge was a commitment to myself.”
And that’s not all! Kirsty says she feels fitter, stronger, less stressed and can walk longer distances than ever before.
“I have learned to deal with stress differently. Food has become my last resort instead of my first,” Says.
“I learned the tools from healthy mummy app Which helped me even in difficult times. Oh my God, my energy has improved so much. I wake up in the morning with a spring in my step. Even just having the surgery, my recovery will be faster because I am stronger and leaner. “
What Kirsty does for exercise
Incredibly, Kirsty says she works out at least 5 days a week and is a fan of Joe’s workouts that don’t work on work equipment.
“I’ve had to slow down and limit my workouts through my medical issues but I’m already okay with light walking so I can get back to fitness more than ever,” Says.
“Loved the past 12 weeks. I’ll do it again in a flash. I loved sharing and was inspired by my healthy mummy village.
“I used the 12 Week Toolkit during the entire challenge. I printed it out and wrote down my goals, keeping myself in mind the importance of being prepared and taking advice from the Toolkit, to save time, same money, and take away the feeling in the beginning.
“I loved the app in every aspect of it.”
