method
- *24 hours before preparing this recipe, put the ice cream maker box in the freezer*
- In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, buttermilk, protein powder, cocoa powder, and sweetener until smooth.
- Have the ice cream maker ready to use with the frozen case and pour the mixture inside.
- Whisk ice cream for 15-20 minutes.
- Once the mixture thickens to a smooth consistency, add the candy bars and whisk until smooth.
- Serve immediately or put the mixture in a bowl and freeze.
- Leave the ice cream at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving.
