The 121st US Open will go down as the first major win for John Ram, one of the world’s greatest – and one of the easiest golfers to reach. The 26-year-old Spaniard started the final round with a tie for sixth place by two equal strokes in the tournament. And Henley, Bland, and Canadian Mackenzie Hughes all made great tours. But in the end, the National Championship garnered a handful of top golfers, playing top of their game with everything on the line. It’s hard for golf to get any better than this, but Ram’s salvation after the male fiasco has made this tournament all the more special.
