2) Measurements and photos

It is important when you begin to know your initial weight, and to have good pictures and measurements so that you can accurately measure your progress at 12 weeks.

Your goals may revolve around ensuring that you stick to a healthy eating plan and get regular exercise. Once you set your goals, be sure to plan a reward for achieving them and choose a few rewards that will keep you on track with your healthy lifestyle.

4) Make your 12-week pledge

If you haven’t done so already, you can make a pledge here

Think carefully about what you’re going to stick with during this 12-week time frame and make a commitment! It doesn’t necessarily have to be a number on the scales, it could be how you want to feel, or how you will achieve your goal. Write it down or take a screenshot, so you can refer to it throughout your trip.

5. Planning and preparing meals

One of the best things about Healthy Mummy is that it plans healthy meals for you. The weekly meal plan for the following week will be in the app every Wednesday.

Take 15 minutes each week to customize meal plans that work for you, then your shopping lists are made and you’re ready to go! All meals in the Healthy Mummy app were created with busy and poor moms in mind. They’re easy to prepare, healthy, family-friendly, and budget friendly. Set aside an hour or so at the beginning of the week and then maybe another amount of time in the middle of the week to prepare some meals and get you ready ahead.

If you haven’t prepared a meal before you feel a little overwhelmed with how everything works, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. Meal prep has helped a lot of moms move on, and it saves you time in the long run.

  • No more cooking in the kitchen every day – Cooking in batches means you have meals ready to grab and reheat
  • Saving Money It is often much cheaper to buy ingredients in bulk. Every little bit of money saved is money in your pocket.
  • Helps you avoid temptation Having a batch of healthy prepackaged meals means that when you’re tired and hungry, you’re less likely to eat a quick and often unhealthy option.
