When you feel heavy or unhealthy, it is easy to feel bad about your body. Many people think that their problems will go away if they lose weight. They think that they might feel depressed or become more confident if they shed the pounds.
However, health mummy superhero trainer Cecily Goodwin, who lost 56 kg through 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, He says a negative attitude towards your body may be the reason why you struggle to fit your jeans.
It is important to truly love your body, even if you are not how you want it to be. By loving your body, you are actually telling yourself that you want to take care of yourself and make better health decisions. This is important for any overhaul of a healthy lifestyle …
Cecilie admits that she was criticizing her body when her weight was 128 kg
The journey of the healthy mummy began with a weight of 128 kg. Being a size 24, I was often critical of my body and felt negative about myself.
But I knew that in order to change my life I needed to change the way I thought. So I took it upon myself to embark on a journey of self-love and started loving myself by doing some things differently. ”

Cecilie’s top tips to start loving your body at every step of your journey
1. Stop talking negatively about yourself.
“Calling yourself obese doesn’t help! It’s time to leave those toxic words in the past and start appreciating what your body can do.”
2. Start by thanking your body every day for all the things it has done for you
“The birth of your beautiful children, allowing you to move and carry out your life. Preserving your health.”
3. Wear clothes that make you feel better
“You don’t have to go out and buy yourself beautiful, expensive clothes! You can just make your hair cute to wear your favorite outfit often.
If you live in black tights and a baggy shirt, go and find a beautiful colored dress that accentuates your body shape! It will help make you feel better.
Add other things that make you feel beautiful. Get a new haircut or change the color, do your own nails or whatever beauty treatments you want to try, I suck on eyelashes! But look for everything that makes you look in the mirror every day and feel proud. “
4. Focus on your favorite body parts
“Take a good look at your body, what’s your favorite part? Focus on that.”
5. “Beautiful” or “healthy” does not mean that you should be skinny
“You don’t need to be a size 0 to be beautiful! Some chubby women, like Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Vergara, are among the most beautiful women in the world and they are not very thin. You are who you are and you can be beautiful and healthy at a size 12 or 14. Don’t press too much on Yourself. “
6. Tell yourself that you are beautiful often
Fake it until you make it! If you don’t like the way you look now, that’s okay! But start telling yourself that you do, every day look in the mirror and say, “You’re beautiful!” “I’m on my journey to better health!” I will nourish my body with the best foods to help it thrive and transform. ‘
7. Accept who you are and what you did
“Accept that everything you did or ate in the past is just a thing of the past! You are now in control of your body and giving it everything it needs, and in return your body will give you everything you need. Focus on what you can do today to support your body’s needs.”

“I can honestly tell you, you will get a lot further from loving your body than by hating your body, so leave those negative thoughts at the door and start changing the way you talk and feel about your body.
It’s okay if you don’t feel it right away, but if you continue these good habits you can fall in love with yourself, and you don’t have to wait for you to reach your goal to do so! ”
