Aftershokz headphones are wireless, bone conduction headphones (that go over your ear). Here is a review of open-ear aerobics headphones, which are great for runners. Plus my thoughts on other wireless headphones I’ve used in the past (Apple Airpods and Galaxy Buds).
Aerobics Aftershocks Headphones (Best Buy)
AfterShokz Aeropex Open Ear Endurance Headphones (from Amazon)
AfterShokz Air Open Ear Endurance Headphones (from Amazon) These are less expensive models from the same company. I haven’t tried these, but wanted to share to give you some options. If you are going to shop for a less expensive option – I would recommend staying with this brand or looking for other reputable brands with lots of good reviews. A lot of my friends and family have tried many wireless earbuds and those that work well have a lot of great reviews.
I also mentioned the other two earphones I used in the video review – Galaxy Buds and Apple Airpods. I only recommend these if you’re on the treadmill or work somewhere you want to block out outside noise [NOT if you’re running outside and need to be aware of your surroundings]. But, if you work out at home, in the gym, or in a home gym – these options may work for you.
