The government has recognized of late that cataracts and infertility, mostly in the military, are caused by exposure to ionizing radiation.
Non-ionizing radiation also causes symptoms, ill health, and disability in both military and civilian personnel, including men, women and children. Economic and monitoring agendas are taking place under the false, irrational claim that if radiation is not ionizing, then it is not harmful.
Thermal versus non-thermal

The expert groups of the World Health Organization, the European Union Commission and Sweden are largely made up of members of the ICNIRP, with no representative of the many scholars criticizing the ICNIRP view.
The article concludes,
Resistance to abundant and growing scientific evidence about health risks is noticeable and is not in the public health domain. This behavior, due to the influence of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection and the dominant role in many other groups of experts, is harmful to human health and leads to suffering and even early death that could have been prevented. Moreover, it must be emphasized that in general there is a lack of persons with medical education and competence not only in the assessment bodies but also in many research teams that produce questionable results as shown in this text.
