Summer is here and I’m excited to enjoy all the things this season has to offer – long days, beach trips, barbecues and more. Along with all the summer fun comes warmer weather which means cool rewards are a must, right?

Popsicles taste best on a hot summer afternoon! So I’m sharing the perfect homemade popsicle recipe that’s healthy, delicious, and family friendly. Simply combine the protein-rich Real California Yogurt, fruit and honey, and you’re on your way to a happy snack!

There are three flavors to this yogurt lollipop recipe – strawberry, coconut, and raspberry. You can make all three for a red, white, and blue theme or choose your favorite and make a big batch.

Easy Recipe Yogurt Popsicles 3 Ingredients

I love holiday-themed candy, so I made these easy lollipops in them redAnd the white And the blue (the strawberryAnd the coconut And the CranberryFor a patriotic treat, take a classic summer treat. I’m usually a blueberry girl, but I think coconut ended up being my favourite!

I used Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt made with Real California Milk for all three popsicle flavors. You can use plain yogurt if you want to add a little tart to it. And look for the Real California Milk seal when shopping for your ingredients, as I appreciate that they are sourced sustainably.

3 ingredient healthy lollipop recipe

It’s easy to make DIY popsicles using a few common kitchen tools, but you don’t need these. First, the blender – any regular kitchen blender works great because we only blend fruit and yogurt.

Popsicle molds are needed (ice trays or paper cups can also be used). I’m using these silicone lollipop molds which make it very easy to pop the bell out right away.

The recipes below will make four to six of each flavor. So make sure you have at least 12 lollipop molds or make them in batches.

Strawberry Yogurt Lollipop recipe

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups California Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 cup strawberries (washed and chopped)
  • 1-2 terabytes. honey
  • Optional: add strawberries for garnish

directione:

  • Put the yogurt, strawberries, and honey in a blender and puree until well blended.
  • Pour into popsicle molds and add sticks.
  • [optional: Add a few pieces of chopped strawberries to top of mold for a pop of red.]
  • Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • When you’re ready to serve, carefully remove the lollipops from the mold and enjoy!

Easy Coconut Yogurt Popsicle Recipe

Coconut Yogurt Popsicle Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups California Vanilla Yogurt
  • .5 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ teaspoon coconut extract
  • Optional: extra coconut for garnish

directione:

  • Combine yogurt with shredded coconut and extract into a bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  • Pour into popsicle molds and add sticks.
  • [optional: Add a shredded coconut to top of mold for an extra pop of flavor and color.]
  • Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • When you’re ready to serve, carefully remove the lollipops from the mold and enjoy!

Yogurt blueberry popsicle recipe

Yogurt Blueberry Popsicle Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups California Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 cup blueberries (washed and stems removed)
  • 1-2 terabytes. honey

directione:

  • Put the yogurt, berries and honey in a blender and puree until well blended.
  • Pour into popsicle molds and add sticks.
  • [optional: Add a few blueberries to top of mold for an extra pop of fruit and blue color.]
  • Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • When you’re ready to serve, carefully remove the lollipops from the mold and enjoy!

Easy Yogurt Popsicles Recipe

Tips for making great homemade lollipops:

  1. Use silicone molds – pop up very easily and are easy to clean
  2. Use real California low-fat or full-fat yogurt for a creamier ice cream
  3. Freezing removes sweetness so taste before freezing and add more honey if needed
  4. Make sure there are no air bubbles in the lollipops by tapping the filled molds on the counter or using a vase to stir them.
  5. Put the straws in a plastic bag and store in the freezer for up to two weeks
